Recruitment
We’re currently recruiting translators for Chinese novels!
Please only apply if you’re 18 or over. We’re also not currently looking for editors.
Why Should You Join?
- You’ll be paid in ad revenue from your chapters!
- Ease of posting. (Next/previous buttons and table of contents are automatically generated for you. Footnotes can easily be added. Raws can be removed from your translations with a click of a button!)
- You’ll be with open-minded fellow novel lovers! (And you can scream with us about the latest novel you’re reading because chances are, one of us is also reading it.)
- We have someone who maintains and updates the site.
- We’ll treat you like a human being who deserves tender love and care.
Please Read This Before Applying:
- You do not need to be able to understand Chinese to translate, just willing to spend time and effort to understand potentially confusing raws.
- You must be able to update at least one chapter per week.
- You do not need to have a novel in mind to start translating! There is a general test that you can take, and we can suggest novels we think you might like.
- If you do have a novel in mind but have yet to start translating, we will be asking you to submit one translated chapter of your desired novel.
- If you are currently translating a novel and want to move it to our site, a link to your current translation is good!
- There is a 3 week probationary period. This means that you will be required to submit one chapter to the staff every week for three weeks to ensure that you can make the long-term commitment that translating requires. The chapters submitted will not be posted on the site or any other location until you pass probation.
*We’ll scrutinize novels which contain rape or harem more heavily.
If you have any questions, please send us a ticket in Contact Us or ask us in our Discord server.
